Friends of Wilkinson Center will host a western-themed fundraiser, “Spirit of Taos”, from 7 p.m. to midnight, Friday, October 23 at The Lot, 7530 E. Grand Ave., Dallas benefiting Wilkinson Center. Live music, dancing, dinner, raffles and an auction are included in the evening. The “Spirit of Taos” will raise funds for Wilkinson Center, which provides pathways out of poverty through a food bank, emergency services, GED classes, career training classes and adult education classes at 14 locations in East, Southeast Dallas and Pleasant Grove.
