WHAT: The Young Friends of the Wilkinson Center will host its third annual White Party Benefit at
Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar. 100% of the proceeds will benefit The Wilkinson Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of Dallas families by providing pathways to self-sufficiency with dignity and respect. WHERE: Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar, 2501 N. Harwood, Dallas, 75201.
WHO: Wilkinson Center opened in 1982 as a neighborhood food pantry, operating out of the basement
of Munger Place United Methodist Church. Thirty years later, Wilkinson Center addresses our clients’
most significant issues: basic human necessities (food, clothing, shelter), education and employment.
Families are given the opportunity to escape poverty and become self-sufficient through multigenerational
educational opportunities. Combined with case management and emergency support
services, families learn new skills and set goals to become self-sufficient. Partnerships with other
organizations assist families in learning skills to break the cycle of generational poverty. Case Managers
utilize a holistic plan of poverty intervention focusing on education for both children and adults,
ensuring the family success in their plan to self-sufficiency.

Wilkinson Center is a leading poverty rescue and prevention agency for the working poor, serving over
14,000 people annually, mainly in east and southeast Dallas. Wilkinson Center offers hope, inspiration,
